Ansbacher has recruited two people to its London-based wealth management business.

Andrew Jenkins has been appointed to support the Group’s growing Middle Eastern operations following its acquisition by Qatar National Bank and the opening of its office in Dubai late last year. Jenkins was previously a director of Ansbacher Bank and Trust Company in Cayman and headed up the Group’s investment team in the Caribbean.

Mike Hollings has been recruited to the Ansbacher team from Amstel Securities to service the needs of Ansbacher’s growing institutional and ultra high net worth private client base. A lawyer by training, Hollings has held a number of senior posts specialising in convertible bonds and hedge funds and brings over twenty years experience to the role.

Both Andrew Jenkins and Mike Hollings will report to Roddy Buchanan, Head of Ansbacher Wealth.

“We are delighted to welcome Andrew and Mike to the team given their considerable experience and our focus on developing our wealth management business,” says Hugh Titcomb, Managing Director of Ansbacher. “Having recently received the award for Investment Performance – Defensive Portfolios at the 2005 PAM Awards, we intend to build on this recognition and develop our client base globally.”
